Slum settlement is not only about hardship of poverty with violence nightmare. Survival in slum settlement provides cheap resources in which labor workforce chip in the pocket of hawkers, street vendors, or any other term of unlicensed informal traders. And the food is the most marvellous one!

Macaroni Soup, 10 Pesos (USD 0.2) - served in the morning

Champurrado; porridge of drinking chocolate poured over white rice - 10 Pesos (USD 0.2) - for breakfast

Tapsilog; rice, sweet meat, and egg - 32 Pesos (USD 0.64) - served 24 hours

Mamee; noodle, meat, and tamarind soup - 20 Pesos (USD 0.4) - soft snacks
